Who Wants Casserole?
Q.
People like my tuna casserole. Really. They do!
Day One: delicious.
Day Two: still good. The spice has settled in nicely.
The problem is that said casserole self-replicates in the fridge.
Every evening, it feels like we’re almost done. “There might be enough for one more lunch,” enthuses no one.
Yet, open the fridge the next day, and the dried-out noodles have rallied to conjure crunchy co-conspirators. Arm to arm, they stretch their way into previously conquered corners of the pan.
“Huh. It looks like there’s enough casserole left for another dinner.”
“¡Nooooooooo!”
But, bring on a couple of cold months, and the promise of melting Day One deliciousness lures us me back.
